Deji Adeyanju has criticized those opposing the planned nationwide protest. The human rights activist argued that the Naira’s plummeting value, driven by poor economic policies, justifies public outcry.
“N100,000 is the new N10,000 and you say people should not protest. The Naira is almost worthless because of bad policies,” Adeyanju stated in an interview with Vanguard.
Adeyanju further commented that “the real organizers of the protest are hunger, poverty, and corruption.”
