Popular social media influencer, Verydarkman, has raised serious allegations against the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), claiming that the anti-graft agency accepted a N15 million bribe from Nigerian cross-dresser, Bobrisky. According to the accusations, the bribe was meant to remove money laundering charges from Bobrisky’s court case, allowing him to avoid prison time. Instead of incarceration, Verydarkman alleges that Bobrisky was housed in an apartment.
In a series of posts, Verydarkman expressed his shock and disappointment, particularly at the possibility of singer Falz and his father, Femi Falana, being linked to the alleged cover-up. He questioned whether they were aware of the alleged false narrative that Bobrisky was imprisoned.
Tagging the EFCC in his statement, Verydarkman demanded that the officers involved in this alleged deal be held accountable. He warned that more revelations could follow, stating, “PART 2 LOADING IF.”
The allegations, if true, have further fueled public distrust in Nigeria’s justice system, raising concerns about corruption and the fairness of high-profile cases. The EFCC is yet to issue a response to these claims.
