Destiny Osagiede, popularly known as Prince Dot, has taken on the lead role in a stage production portraying Pov Laroche, the only Black passenger aboard the ill-fated RMS Titanic. The play brings to life the true story of Laroche, who was aboard the Titanic when it sank in April 1912.

Prince Dot, who hails from Uselu, Benin City, Edo State, brings a powerful performance to this historical narrative, shedding light on a lesser-known aspect of the Titanic tragedy.

The production is directed, written, and produced by Dr. Carlett Norwood for the Birmingham Black Box, and it aims to capture the untold story of Laroche’s journey aboard the legendary ship.
