The All Progressives Congress (APC) has expressed confidence that Nigeria will experience significant improvement in 2025, citing President Bola Tinubu’s determination to reposition the nation for sustainable development.
This assurance was given by Lagos APC Chairman, Cornelius Ojelabi, during the party’s Christmas Carol and Nine Lessons event held on Sunday evening.
Reflecting on the challenges of 2024, both economically and politically, Mr. Ojelabi acknowledged the strides made by the Tinubu administration in stabilizing the country.
“We are grateful to God for blessing us with a president who is bold, courageous, and capable of making tough decisions that will ultimately benefit everyone. As we move into 2025, I assure Nigerians that the ‘Renewed Hope’ agenda of President Tinubu remains on track. We are confident that the coming year will bring remarkable progress,” he said.
He urged Nigerians to remain united and focused on supporting the party’s efforts to rebuild the nation, emphasizing the importance of faith in the president’s reform agenda.
“The ‘Renewed Hope Agenda’ is designed with the best interests of our nation in mind,” Mr. Ojelabi added.
Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, also addressed the gathering, reiterating his administration’s commitment to delivering on the THEME Plus Agenda. He commended Lagosians for their unwavering support of the APC and pledged to intensify efforts to improve lives across the state.
Governor Sanwo-Olu encouraged residents to remain optimistic and to work together for the growth and development of Lagos. “Let us set aside our differences and embrace peace and unity,” he said.
The APC leaders expressed optimism that Tinubu’s policies and reforms, though tough, will yield long-term benefits for the nation.
