President Bola Tinubu held a strategic meeting with Rwandan President Paul Kagame in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, during the eve of the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week.
The Nigerian President disclosed the details of their discussions in a post on his official X account on Monday, emphasizing the importance of self-reliance and regional collaboration within Africa.
“Africa has what it takes to develop itself. We have the resources, the people, and the capacity. We must look inward to improve intra-African trade and collaboration to benefit the African people and the continent. The time for Africa is now. We can. We must. We will,” Tinubu stated.
